A modernised fleet: new Liebherr LTM 1100-5.3 mobile crane for Würzburger Kranverleih
Würzburger Kranverleih und Bergungsdienst GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1100-5.3 mobile crane. The 100-tonne crane has a 62-metre-long telescopic boom, a modern crane design, LICCON3 control and the innovative TraXon DynamicPerform ZF gear unit. It replaces an eleven-year-old LTM 1090-4.1 in the Lower Franconia-based family-run company’s crane fleet.

Liebherr-Canada delivers brand-new PR 776 dozers to Gibraltar mine
On 29 April, team members from Liebherr-Canada travelled to Gibraltar mine in British Columbia for the handing over of four PR 776 dozers to Taseko Mines. One of these dozers is the latest generation of Liebherr’s flagship 70-tonne dozer, the PR 776 G8. This will be the first of Liebherr’s Generation 8 machines to hit Canadian soil.

In April 2025, the fabrication team at Liebherr-Australia’s Perth facility in Western Australia celebrated its 100th bucket fabrication. The milestone bucket was delivered to an iron ore operation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia and was fitted to an R 9600 excavator.

Powering the composting cycle: Liebherr wheel loaders and the circular economy in Switzerland
Every year, the Association for Waste Disposal processes around 50,000 m³ of green waste in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. A decomposition process lasting several months results in the finest fresh compost, which is refined by the company Terre Suisse, as one of several customers, in further processing steps to form high-quality substrates and potting soil. Both the latest generation and older models of mid-sized Liebherr wheel loaders play an important role in this production process.
